Whew!!! Still alive...

I've been getting some e-mails lately about my postings... actually the lack thereof. Believe it or not, there's a reason or two for letting a tad of dust settle on the blog.

1. Just finished up with another advanced degree, and the last two classes were a bit time consuming. Gained a bunch of great information and knowledge from both, but it comes down to priorities and time. Not enough time for everything, and it seems like a smarter move to finish the degree program and continue to audition (and book) VO work than to let those things slip... especially when you're this close to graduation. Not a justification, but as with all things, you have to define your priorities and keep to them.
2. This permitted me to run an experiment that I'll be sharing on the blog in the next few days. Some of it will be common sense, but I hope that more than a little will be informative those who read.

On that note, I'm going to wash up and celebrate my first weekend in a long time where I don't have to grade papers, write papers, do any kind of coding, PowerPoint, Visio, or study for any kind of exam. It's been about 18 months since I've last been able to say that =-)
